HDTargets software for targetted tDCS and tACS stimulation

High-definition tDCS / tACS is a technique used to increase the spatial focality of tDCS / tACS by passing current across the scalp using smaller diameter circular electrodes.

We are proud to introduce in collaboration with Soterix Medical a significant advancement in non-invasive brain targeting and specificity. HDTargets automatically determines the best high definition electrode configuration for any brain target.

HDTargets in combination with the neuroConn DC Stimulator MC allows researchers to achieve focal delivery of current to discrete regions of the cortex to increase the spatial precision of stimulation.

In four easy steps:

  • Choose the number of current sources either 4, 8, or 16 electrodes
  • Pick your desired field orientation, Radial, Tangential etc
  • Optimize current for maximum focality or maximum intensity over your desired target
  • Select targeted stimulation location based on standard

HDTargets then defines optimized currents based upon the available channels (4,8,16) and defines electrode placement based upon the 10/10 EEG convention to ensure consistent electrode placement.
