Basic Principles of tES workshop

This one day transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) workshop is an excellent starting point for those who are new to tES research.

The workshop covers:

  • The physiology of tES and the differences between transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS)
  • How to prepare a tES study, including electrode preparation, setting stimulation parameters and blinding options
  • Safety principles and contraindications in tES studies
  • Discussion sessions on how to integrate tES into your research programme

Please note, the date of the next Basic Principles of tES Workshop is to be confirmed but it is likely to be next Spring.
